Welcome to Ramblin Ranch! We are located about 45
minutes Northwest of Calgary, Alberta. Where we have some of the
most fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains! We are the fourth
generation family to farm here west of Airdrie, Alberta. We
started our farming operation in the beef
industry running cow/calf pairs raising our own beef along
with producing some for resale. After 10 years of having our
cattle and our family growing we saw the need to change our
operation to a more manageable level that the kids and I could
primarily run. We acquired some Suffolk sheep and have yet to
look back. We have chosen to raise registered Suffolk and Dorset
sheep along with registered Miniature horses. Our family has
always been involved in the agriculture and equine industries.
As for the each of us:
Jeremy participated in sheep and light horse 4-H for many
years. Jeremy took his Green Certificate in sheep husbandry and
production as well as a shearing course. He sheared sheep for
other farms as well as his own flock, after pursuing this for
nine years he put down the shears to take a position helping run
a cattle feed lot.
I also participated in light horse 4-H in British Columbia which
lead me in the direction of riding competitively in the
disciplines of Dressage and Hunters. When I moved to High River
Alberta in 2004 I became active in the Miniature horse industry
and have been involved in breeding and showing since that time.
Please feel free to come
